Distribution Point Help!!

Recommended Posts

I have a Configuration Manager 2012 server in production that has been working very well for a while at this point. I recently starting working on getting it setup to deploy images via PXE and have run into a whole slew of problems.

1. All of a sudden I can no longer update content on my distribution point. I worked for a while trying to figure out what was causing this and digging through the distmgr.log never really found anything of substance. I deleted the Distribution point role, restarted and then blew away all folders that related to it. I re added the role and distributed my Boot images without issue.

2. Fast forwaard to today I tried to create a task sequence bootable media and it kept failing telling me that the content library didnt match the source. I tried to retributive my boot images and task sequences to the DP thinking that was the issue and all of a sudden I am back to where I started. When I try to distribute content it hangs "In Process" forever.

I have no idea where to go from here as there is obviously a problem, but I cant figure out where it is at. The Service Account I am using has full access to everything in question so I don't think it is a permissions issue. Nothing else in the environment changed so I am not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
