Reduce Transaction Log SCCM 2012

Question

Hi all, I am managing SCCM 2012, but I have much to learn and know about this product, I want to know if I can reduce the transaction log from sql administrator parent site manually, this does not cause problems? or is there a recommended way? has increased the reporting service log(Report Server) to 32 GB! and I'm out of space. Has anyone had experience, what would be the best practice, I can proceed to reduce it from the administrator and this will cause problems later?

On the DB itself right click and choose shrink DB....make sure and choose either the .ldf or .mdf.......As far as I remeber it is the report_serverLog.ldf that needs to be shrinked if it has gained too much in size.

After you shrink it then you must right click the instance and I think it is options node and choose recovery mode to simple...it will be in full mode at present...after you do this your report server DB will not increase anymore.
