hhancock Posted November 9, 2012 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 I am having a weird error. I have successfully gotten it to work in my development environment but unable to get the task sequence to work in production. I basically have 3 applications in my "Install Base Applications" portion (Lync 2010 x64, Adobe Reader XI, and Microsoft Office 2010 x86). If I remove the Microsoft Office 2010 x86 application from the task sequence, the other two applications install perfectly fine. If I change the order, where Microsoft Office 2010 x86 is put first, Office installs fine, but the other two applications fail to install. How do I resolve this? Tay Posted November 9, 2012 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 Maybe put in a restart after office has installed?
hhancock Posted November 9, 2012 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 Maybe put in a restart after office has installed? I will try that but not sure why that is necessary. I didn't have to do that in my development environment.
hhancock Posted November 9, 2012 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 I've noticed that if I just leave Microsoft Office 2010 x86 in the task sequence it finishes bu the OS partition has the following two folders:
hhancock Posted November 9, 2012 Report post Posted November 9, 2012 Maybe put in a restart after office has installed? Even with adding the "restart" after the installation of Office, it still does not install the additional applications.
hhancock Posted November 14, 2012 Report post Posted November 14, 2012 Anyone? This is extremely furstrating. Here are some of the things I've done: Recreated the Application Recreated the Task Sequence Still receive the same error. The application is never installed and the folder, as listed above, is created. Other applications work perfectly fine. I've attached the AppEnforce log file. It looks as the application is timing out? It's currently set to the default 120. This is how it's set in my development environment as well and it works perfectly. Am I crazy to think that the installation should take less than 120 minutes? AppEnforce.log
hhancock Posted November 14, 2012 Report post Posted November 14, 2012 I've extended the time to 240 minutes but the problem remains.
