Lots of "Unknown" client machines in SCCM 2012 Console

I am experiencing a strange issue, anyone know what this could be?

if i try to push a client to these "Unknown" machines it states:

• Resource ID: 16777899

• Object name: Unknown

• Include domain controllers: No

• Always install (repair or upgrade existing client): No

• Total resources selected to install the Configuration Manager client: 1

 

Error: Some of the selected resources are not assigned to any site

Number of resources that are not in any site's boundaries and will not be installed: 1

 

 

As far as I know I have all IP Ranges in my boundaries and AD sites.

These are unsuccessful PXE boot attempts, probably by machines which have PXE as first boot device, but are not covering a PXE deployment. You can't push a client to these objects. Just delete them and consider a change of the boot order.

but we have PXE disabled on SCCM.

OK, they might be just entries of failed OS deployments? You have to manually delete them though.
