J. Rubinstein Posted November 26, 2012 Report post Posted November 26, 2012 I have been running a 2007 sccm for a while and have now set up a brand new server with sccm 2012. I've migrated the collections and created the boundaries so all machines should be found at the new site (WAL) rather than the old one (WT3) and and in assets and compliance - devices, the systems show as in the new site ("WAL") but without the client. I've set up site-wide push installation and put in the right accounts, but no systems show up as having clients. When I try an individual install I can see ccmsetup running in the relevant machine's task manager and the assets and compliance - devices shows "Complete" for that machine. However, even after a reboot the machine shows as being in the old site on its config manager control panel, and still shows as "No" client in the SCCM 2012 console. I'd be very grateful for any help. Jay
J. Rubinstein Posted November 26, 2012 Report post Posted November 26, 2012 I now think I've resolved this. The issue lay in the fact that, although I had deleted the old boundary references in the Config 2012 console, they were still in existence on the config 2007 one. Since there's still a dns reference to the 2007 config manager as well as to the new one, clients weren't finding their site properly. Once I went into the console for the 2007 installation and deleted all the boundary references from there the clients began to find their site codes automatically and to show up correctly in the new console.
