gnowar Posted December 7, 2012 Report post Posted December 7, 2012 Hye everyone, I've some issues capturing w7x64 with sccm 2012. I'm able to boot on pxe but the server reboot everytime. When I press F8 I can only see the DVD drive with Diskpart. I'm using VMWare workstation 9 with SCSI LSI Logic disk (or IDE & LSI Logic SAS, same problem..). I created a driver package with the vmscsi-1.2.0.4.flp content but it changes nothing. I don't know where I can look, I've been looking a solution for 2 days now. So any suggestion is welcome ! Code(0×00000001) PxeGetPxeData failed with 0×80004005 In fact, I've an IP address but not those delivered by my DHCP server. I'm gonna take a look at my NIC drivers. gnowar Posted December 7, 2012 Report post Posted December 7, 2012 No... I was in Host-only mode. Thing is, Host-only mode provides a DHCP so there was a conflict with my dhcp server. I'm now able to get a right IP but I'm facing another issue : "missing root ca environment variable from variable file" I quickly took a look on the server certificate in IIS console but I don't now exactly where to look. Anyway there is a certificate related to ConfigMgr who is expired. I just find that and I don't know how to renew it. I'll take a look later but if I'm going the wrong way, plz tell me Thanks ! Peter33 Posted December 7, 2012 Report post Posted December 7, 2012 I doubt that you certificate has expired already. The PXE cert runs for 1 year if you are using the default values. Make sure the system time is set correctly on your VM host computer. Alo in your VM, which should be received from the host anyways. I set the "Allow the clients to connect anonymously" option but that changes nothing. My VM's date&time are correct. Still looking for something.. gnowar Posted December 10, 2012 Report post Posted December 10, 2012 Okay, found it. I made a mistake configuring my DHCP scope. I'm pretty sure I didn't set the dns property and it was set to 127.0.0.1. I putted the right DNS IP and it works now. The error log is not very helpfull and it didn't get me to the right direction this time. Hope it'll help someone. Thank you for your help Peter !
