44ark Posted December 11, 2012 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 Guys We are migrating from Altiris to SCCM 2012. currently all the current estate are windows XP machines and we will not be pusing out the SCCM client to these desktops as they are locked down and unable to install the client. We will be upgrading the whole estate to windows 7 which will enable the sccm client to be installed. My problem is to enable the current desktops to boot i need to import all the mac addresses of these machines some 2000+ desktops and laptops. I have all the machines in the device collections already which they have been picked up through AD. So how do i add mac address information to the client records in sccm 2012 please im stuck???? Peter33 Posted December 11, 2012 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 For SCCM these clients are "unknown". So you don't have to worry about that. Just add the "all unknown computers" collection to your OSD collection.
