docholiday3810 Posted December 16, 2012 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 Hello Forum. I am a System Engineer working on a very big migration. I have 38 sites that are set up as DP’s and we are rolling out the images to these units. The download time is not bad. I would say around 20 minutes for the download to 20 machines. CPU at 55% util and network at 65%. I want to be doing 100 at a time is this doable? It takes around two and a half hours to complete the refresh. From past experience I know WDS is much faster. Now I am doing around 200 machines in three days where with WDS I could do that in afternoon. The wim file is around 14 gig that I am using. What has been the experience of others when using SCCM and OSD? I am thinking this is a enterprise product and I should be able to do more machines than 20 at a time. I have some site that have 600 users and i only have a week to do them in. Thanks in adavance Doc
