bokfon Posted December 17, 2012 Report post Posted December 17, 2012 What we would like to do is use OSD\TS and be able to image machines while keeping the Dell diagnostics partition. Is this possible? This is for a buch of different Dell models. Our field techs would be beating down my door if I could not get this to work. Their main reason is when you contact Dell for support they ask you to run the diags. I currently have have working image that I have built and captured using a VM, but that doesn't have the Dell diagnostics partition. Thanks. Peter van der Woude Posted December 18, 2012 Report post Posted December 18, 2012 Let's start with that I would try to search for a different solution to get the diagnostic tools available to my techs. When that's not an option I might be possible by not using a Format and Partition Disk -step. This way the disk won't be re-formatted and only be wiped.
