Rocket Man Posted December 31, 2012 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Have seen this error on all my SCCM implementations, I totally ignored it and forgot all about it, until now BUT everything is working as it should on all SCCM locations, if this helps! matt160 Posted December 31, 2012 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Thank you. I hate those little red icons with their vague meanings.
Peter33 Posted January 2, 2013 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Maybe it just means what it says, and your remote registry service is not running on this machine, or blocked by the firewall.
matt160 Posted January 2, 2013 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Remote registry service was on and the firewall was set to allow all (test VM site not exposed to internet). If there was a hang up I suppose i could make a MS support call but all is well.
