smspxe Posted January 3, 2013 Report post Posted January 3, 2013 I have managed to deploy a new pc with use of a UDI TS (cm 2012 with mdt 2012 update 1) but I having trouble understand how this works for all scenarios; new pc, refresh & replace. Do I have to create a seperate ts for each scenario or just one with variables connected to the udi wizzard? How do I start/ the different steps? I thought it would be a step/menu in the udi wizzard where you could choose what to do. I want my users to be able to reinnstall their own pc's and choose refresh, clean install etc. I would be thankfull for any help and ts examples. Iroqouiz Posted January 3, 2013 Report post Posted January 3, 2013 I've tweaked my UDI TS quite a bit, but as I understand it the default TS should be pretty much good to go. You don't have to create several TS, what you choose in terms of refresh/replace/new is then carried through in the TS by task sequence variables.
