Simple Report that shows how many computers are running vista, xp 2003 etc

Put the below code into a report and run it:

 

SELECT Caption0 as 'Operating System', CSDVersion0, COUNT(*) AS 'Count' 
FROM v_GS_OPERATING_SYSTEM OPSYS 
GROUP BY Caption0, CSDVersion0 
ORDER BY Caption0, CSDVersion0

 

Should look something like this:
