midiman Posted January 6, 2013 Report post Posted January 6, 2013 Hi, I've got a problem trying to view my Application Catalog. I open Software Center and click on find an application from the application catalog. I get the silverlight display come up and then for a brief moment it works. Then it gives me an error message saying: Cannot connect to the application server. What could be causing this? Have you ever seen anything like it. Thanks
Rocket Man Posted January 6, 2013 Report post Posted January 6, 2013 what are your APP catalog components states reporting? Are they Healthy?
midiman Posted January 7, 2013 Report post Posted January 7, 2013 I think I may have found the problem. It looks like I need to activate WCF on my Server.
midiman Posted January 9, 2013 Report post Posted January 9, 2013 Sorted. You need to activate WCF for .Net 4.5 when using Windows Server 2012 and IIS8.0 And enable .net 3.5 to co exist on the Server. Then I removed and re-installed the Application Catlog and Application Catalog Web Service Point roles.
