SCEP installed but not reporting?

I have over 100 clients that have SCEP installed on them but SCCM doesn't show them as being managed or having them installed. How do I get SCCM to show that it is installed and managed? Is there something that I need to run on the client?

is this the RTM or SP1 version of configmgr, what does about/help tell you on the client (scep client) do you see anything interesting there ? is everything else working (software distribution, software updates)

RTM, I will probably update to SP1 soon though.Help/about shows that the policy has been applied and the virus definitions are up to date. Software distribution and updates are working on these computers.
