We have a proxy in place which allows authenticated domain accounts through only, and we have software that needs to activate over the internet during the installation process. GarthMJ Posted January 17, 2013 Report post Posted January 17, 2013 CM12 using the Local System account to install applications, therefore if you need it to access the internet, you need to enable all machine accounts to access via your Proxy. How you could create a Task Sequence and define a execution account, this would mean that you need 1 account to access the internet. Test- Test – test… Personally, I would contact the vendor and ask them for advise on how to roll out their software in an automated fashion. We want it auto-activating after install, which it can't because the local system account can't pass through the proxy of course. We've gone the KMS route anyway.
