How can I setup a Distribution Point in ConfigMgr 2012 on a NAS?

I have a NAS in our domain, any computer that is connected to the network can access the share folders. My question is can I have this NAS to be the distribution point for SCCM 2012? Thanks.

You need to have a operating system on that NAS if you want to be able to install any DPs on it im afraid.

 

You could connect that storage to a server and point to store the files on that share should work.
