SuperPlay Posted January 25, 2013 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 HiWhen I was looking in 'Assets and Compliance / Overview / Devices' today I noticed there are a number of computers listed as 'unknown'Checking the MAC addresses of these they look like they are PCs that have been deleted from SCCM and then re-imaged with a real/new name. Can I just delete these 'unknown computers'? Or will this cause problems as they also exist in SCCM with their real name. Thanks
Peter33 Posted January 25, 2013 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Just delete them. It's safe (and a must).

Iroqouiz Posted January 28, 2013 Report post Posted January 28, 2013 I've made a collection that picks up all unknown clients. When re-imaging computer over and over in a lab, you get quite a lot of those and I find it's easiest to collect them all in the same spot. Then I can mass delete.
