Any task sequence with any OS package did not work

Hi, everyone.

I have: SCCM 2012 SP1 on Windows 2008 R2 Standard

I try deploy diffrent os image with no luck ( Everytime there are error 80070057 (

PC boot, make partition, but task sequence fall on "apply OS" step.

In attachment smsts.log from PC.

Hi,

I had this same problem. I upgraded from SCCM 2012 to SCCM 2012 SP1. The boot images did not get updated, and I missed that. I updated it based on several of the webpages I found on the internet, but didn't do one step. I failed to actually cause SCCM to distribute the updated boot images, and when I used them in a task sequence, I got the exact same error you're getting. Hope this helps.
