SCCM 2007, Software Update, Patch Un-Install

Question

I appreciate that we cannot use a reverse deployment to uninstall a patch, however can anyone point me in the direction of a reasonable guide on how to un-install a patch which is causing me problems on the estate.

I understand that it will be done using a software deployment just want to lesson the amount of time it takes me to complete.

Its Win 7 x64, Office 2010 SP1 and the patch concerned is MS12-079

You should be able to do that by running a command line like this wusa.exe /kb:xxxxxxx /uninstall /quiet /norestart.

Hi Peter and thanks for taking the time to reply, strangly I had tried this manually and the uninstall failed however willing to give it a go in a Task Sequence.

Thanks again.

Rob
