sjustq Posted February 17, 2013 Report post Posted February 17, 2013 Dear Expertise . I have a headache here , am running CM2012-SP1 Beta version-build number 5.0.7782.1000 and trying to install update KB2801987 to fix the client issue and once i do that it keep says "This update applies to product version 5.0.7804 but the version found locally is 5.0.7782.1000, this update is not applicable to this system " and i understand i have to go SP1 RTM ... do i need to do a full CM 2012 sp1 installation to have RTM SP1 or there is an MSI for the SP1 RTM ?? does SP1 Final mean SP1 RTM ? moreover i start to see different version of CM clients installed on the machines .... 5.00.7782.1000 and 5.00.7711.000 , what is the difference between them ? any help would be appreciated . sjustq Posted February 18, 2013 Report post Posted February 18, 2013 7711 = CM2012 RTM 7782 = CM2012 SP1 BETA 7804 = CM2012 SP1 RTM SP1 RTM = SP1 Final it has announced by MS thta if you decide to go SP1 Final from SP1 Beta you need to uninstall the prerelease version before you install System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 , is there any article or document that describe the process . Peter van der Woude Posted February 18, 2013 Report post Posted February 18, 2013 AFAIK, it's not possible to uninstall the Service Pack and it's only possible to completely uninstall ConfigMgr. It is possible to upgrade the SP1 Beta to SP1 Final/RTM, but the result of that is not supported.
