itay Posted February 27, 2013 Report post Posted February 27, 2013 Hi everyone.Hope someone can help me with my error, already I search a lot for solution with no luck.Recently I install and set up SCCM 2012 Sp1 on Windows 2008 R2.The problem is that when I'm trying to distribute content for application or package,SCCM is unable to access remote network share when copying files to the distribution pointsIn the monitoring I see error "the source directory "\\server name\folder" for package "package name" does not exist".When the source folder is on the local server - everything ok.Already i verify that the UNC path is correct.Gave share and NTFS permissions to SCCM admin user and to SCCM computer account.Any help will be appreciateItay

kyawde Posted March 6, 2013 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 Try adding your SCCM server computer account to the local admin group on your remote content server.
Babs Posted March 6, 2013 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 Did you try giving Everyone "Read" access to the share? I had this problem and it seemed to clear up my content distribution issues.
