SCCM\MDT WinPE 2.1 Works very slow

I have a strange siuation on one of my projects where the WinPE's, created by SCCM (SP1 R2) and MDT, works extremely slow on most hardware (Makes the installation takes hours, not related to network speed).

 

Did anyone encountered this behavior before with WinPE ?

is this in a virtual environment ? have you checked your SMSTS.log ?

It's not a virtual PC, the SMSTS.log display no errors as this is only an enviromental behavior (Like Slow network connection, just with overall Performance, like everything is happening in slow motion)

have you verified there are no problems in DNS ? does everything work normally after winpe ? have you added network drivers to boot.wim ?

Nope, DNS is fine and there is not additional NIC Drivers

Everything works when not in WinPE

is there a switch/hub/anything between the server and the client ? can you eliminitate that temporarily from the equation ?
