Dear All .

I've configured my sccm 2012 server to have a second distribution point (DP2) other than the primary server to serve the OSD project

everything was followed just like what experts recommended , content (boot images ) never get replicated to my DP2 ,it keep in progress

for more than 3-4 hours and finally get failed with this error in the monitoring tab .

"package transfer manager failed update the package XXX ,version 5 on pull distribution point DP2 , this pull distribution

points has no source from which it can download content , will try again later "

I removed the rule and reinstalled it without success , my distmgr.log and PkgXferMgr.log files does not say something understandable .

my distmgr errors is

_wfopen_s() failed for \\?\UNC\dp2.xx.com \E$\SCCMContentLib\PkgLib\XXX00004.INI.05e8f2c2 with error 2

WritePrivateProfileStringW failed for \\?\UNC\dp2.xx.com\E$\SCCMContentLib\PkgLib\xxx00004.INI

ProfileWriteString failed; 0x80070002

ProfileWriteInt failed; 0x80070002

my PkgXferMgr.log errors is

PullDPQueryResult() failed to execute WMI Query SELECT * FROM SMS_PullDPState WHERE PackageID='XXX00004' AND PackageVersion='7'. error = 80004005 Unspecified error

Thanks in advance .

Are you getting ANY Packages to that DP? I was having an issue where I missed Client Certificate Authentication in IIs, I added that, uninstalled/reinstalled the DP and all the packages started coming in.
