SCCM 2012 SP1 Internet Based Clients Server 2003 Cert Srv

Hi I am running Server 2012 with CM 2012 SP1 and would like to set up Internet Based client support which requires certificates. I have a 2003 Server ENT. running Cert Svc - are these certificates compatible with CM 2012 SP1?

 

I found a Technet article that only mentions using Server 2008 Enterprise or 2008 DataCenter and specifically mentiones that version 3 templates are not compatible.

Nothing is mentioned about using Server 2003 Enterprise.
