sushainkapoor87 Posted March 18, 2013 Report post Posted March 18, 2013 - ConfigMgr 2007 Component Health: SMS_STATE_MIGRATION_POINT state. The availability state for SMS component 'SMS_STATE_MIGRATION_POINT' in site PJB changed from 'Online' to 'Failed'. Its installation state is 'Installed'. Its execution state is 'Hung'. This component last provided a heartbeat at '03/17/2013 20:34:59'. The next heartbeat is expected in '300' seconds from that time. getting this error alerts generated on my sccm server. if i increase the memory to sql these alerts resolve but as of now when i lowereing it, it is not happening. SQl backup( sms site backup) is also not happening.( the backup happens correctly for few days after restarting the server but reaches the same state after.) also the backup size is huge of 23 gb for about 600 clients. Kindly assist to resolve this. ther server is on windows 2003 sp2 with 4 GB of ram already there in system. the max memory consumed is by sql services.
