"Specify User Accounts" in conjunction with command line switches? USMT

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

For side-by-side migrations I've been using scanstate in a task sequence named "Capture User State." One of the steps in that TS allows for command line values and I've been using the following to exlcude local accounts and migrate all domain accounts:

/ue:*\* /ui:genericdomain\*

Alot of the time I only really need to migrate one account so I end up with a lot of user profiles that probably don't even exist anymore. If I were to use "Specify User Accounts" on a computer association, would it conflict with the command-line switches above? If so, then would the best step be to create a separate task sequence with these omitted for instances when I only want to migrate 1 user?

Thanks for any input
