Kingskawn Posted March 19, 2013 Report post Posted March 19, 2013 We have different domains in 1 forest. Each domain is a client of us.These clients must have the possibility to install machines themselve. For that I want to install a secondary server for clients who have more than 400 users. They need to have applications installed, do machine installations and launch MS updates. Is it so that a secondary does have a management point and a simple dp doesn't? Will all normal dp's come to the primary server then to download apps and os? Because each domain is connected over WAN. So we rely on router <-> router. Also, we have clients who have a central office but also little offices with like 6 or 7 users. Is that an excuse to install a secondary server in the central office instead of a simple dp with pxe and install Windows7 machines in the small offices?
