Andy Posted April 3, 2009 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Hi all I've been struggling with setting up SCCM 2007 to work correctly for almost a week and this site has helped me a lot. Thank you for the guides and all. I have SCCM 2007 installed on a W2K3R2 server with SQL2005 Express. 1. My first problem is, when I tried to extend AD schema, it failed although I had setup Schema admins for our admin accounts. Please check the log below, and by the way, our AD is not setup on this server, it's setup on the other three W2k3 servers. <04-02-2009 20:34:17> Modifying Active Directory Schema - with SMS extensions. <04-02-2009 20:34:17> DS Root:CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=xxx,DC=com <04-02-2009 20:34:17> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-Site-Code. Your Windows NT logon ID does not have the necessary privileges to extend the Active Directory schema. I have tried to add the "System Management" container with Anyweb's guide and the container would show nothing inside 2. The second problem is, I have my Primary site setup as "Auto approve on trusted domain", but all clients show as "N/A" on Approve 3. I have tried to push install client on a few machines, and client agents installed just fine, it's just that on the SCCM console, it showed as "Client = no" no matter how many times I "update collection membership" 4. I have tried to "Discover" site with the Configuratino Manager Properties, and it fails eveytime. By the way, on the component tab of Configuration Manager Properties of client computers, it shows all agents are installed (status), not showing "enabled" as screenshots show. Thank you all for the great help
