Peter33 Posted April 4, 2013 Report post Posted April 4, 2013 The option to remove the MP role from Secondaries is gone with SP1. This may be a bug or a quick and dirty way to fix another Problem they have discovered.

anyweb Posted April 5, 2013 Report post Posted April 5, 2013 I'd like to know why you want to remove the management point and why you don't uninstall the secondary ?
Fray Posted April 6, 2013 Report post Posted April 6, 2013 Hello. There is a fault with the MP, does not receive HTTP response; Error message critical.... when opening the Configuration Manager SQL Server in SQL Server 2008: "Can not connect to WMI provider. Do not have permission or the server is unreachable" ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956013) to fix the next step was The next thing is to remove the management point role and install again. Surprise can not be deleted. I solved by restoring the site with the new feature that includes SP1. but my question is if this is documented? can not eliminate the role mp with sp1?
