dverbern Posted April 7, 2013 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Hello,Our Primary Site Server (P01) in our SCCM 2012 SP1 infrastructure is suffering from very heavy and consistent CPU utilization. Apart from the SQL server process, the main process using CPU cycles is the Endpoint Protection running on the server, using regularly around 40% or more of CPU resources. Can anyone advise whether there is a recommended profile of settings for Endpoint to use when running on this kind of server?Specifically, should Endpoint be scanning all file activity? Should it be excluding specific files from scanning, apart from SQL files?Any assistance would be much appreciated.Daniel V
Oneone Posted April 8, 2013 Report post Posted April 8, 2013 Have you seen the template policys that come with CM 2012? What profile are you using for the server? And if it is a virtual machine it could be the disk that causes the cpu to work extra if there is something wrong with the disk, config or other.
