SMS to SCCM Upgrade

Hi All,

 

I have to upgrade SMS to SCCM for one of my customer. And so far I have gathered following information

1. Approximate number of machines : 2400

2. Number of SMS Servers : 1 (Central)

3. Upgrade approach : In-Place

4. Existing Feature pack : ITMU

 

I wanted to understand what would be the pros and cons in the above mentioned design. If any other information is required then please let me know. And kindly let me know the approach which I have to take for SMS client upgrade
