JayD Posted April 16, 2013 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Hi, I'm trying to setup PXE service point on a secondary site. It's worked on other secondary sites except this one. I've tried adding the role from the "New Site Role Wizard" and on the sever I dont see any PXE logs (pxecontrol.log , pxeMSI.log, PXEsetup.log). I've even tried to manually run the pxe.msi , that does not seem to install either. Any suggestions or help? Thanks! rddvls1999 Posted April 17, 2013 Report post Posted April 17, 2013 I do recall having an issue getting pxe installed on one of my sites before, but can't remember exactly what the problem was. I think it was an issue with wds not working. I have seen an article for troubleshooting pxe on technet,http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2011/01/05/troubleshooting-the-pxe-service-point-and-wds-in-configuration-manager-2007.aspx.
