KeithDib Posted April 22, 2013 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Hi I was wondering. In the Power management that was in R3, what will happen if a computer is in 2 collections that have power restrictions applied? Which policy will apply? thanks
Jorgen Nilsson Posted April 22, 2013 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Hi, It is documented on Technet in the Troubleshooting Power Management section: If a computer is a member of multiple collections, each applying different power plans, the following actions are taken: Power plan: If multiple values for power settings are applied to a computer, the least restrictive value is used. Wakeup time: If multiple wakeup times are applied to a desktop computer, the time closest to midnight is used http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff977096.aspx Regards,Jörgen
