MDT2012 pc refresh error (recover user profiles)

I attempted a LiteTouch refresh scenario WinXP to Win7 and I got a "Failed to run the action: Unload USMT Hive. The execution engine ignored the failure of the action (Unload USMT Hive) and continues execution." Is there a way to get the user's profile? I can see the StateStore\USMT folder and all the user files under that directory. When I boot it says the NTLDR is missing.
