SCCM 2012 SP1 MP Installation failure

Hi i wonder if somebody can save me from going crazy!!!!!

 

I have installed SCCM 2012 SP1 onto Windows 8 R2 Standard SP1 with SQL running on a remote server running on ESX hardware v7 .AD has been extended for SCCM ( Done for 2007 install) All security permissions applied in both AD & SQL.

I can install the site with no problems at all except for the MP, the DP role is installed fine. I can add extra roles for example FallBack status point, Application Catalog web service point etc.

No matter what i try i am unable to get the management point to install. I have rebuilt the server from scratch, i have tried it with all windows updates & without. Different ISO's of SCCM all with the same problem.

I have followed all documents which i can find on the internet and added a PreReq's which are require but it will still not install.

When i watch the log file (mpMSI.log) i can see it running through the setup for the MP & if i look in the SMS_CCM folder i see it add the files for the MP before removing them due to the rollback of the install.

 

The error which i am getting is attach which relates to mp_ccmConfig_Defaults.mof was unable to compile.

 

Any help would be very welcome as i am going crazy with this as i am unable to find a solution.

Hi thanks for your reply, we don't install the SCCM 2007 client on Servers so there is not client. However i did try the post you suggested prior to posting but did not help me.

This is really strange i am now at the point to try installing Server 2012 to see if that resolves the problem.
