TronixS Posted April 25, 2013 Report post Posted April 25, 2013 Hello there, we have Problems with our Enviroment but bevor i tell you what the Problem is here the Configuration, we build it on 2 Servers. The First Server is our Primary Server on VMWARE with following specs: 2 x 3,5Ghz 16GB RAM Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard with SP1 50GB (10GB free) Systemdrive 150GB SCCM (130GB free) Partition for the Configmanager self 500GB SCCM (225GB free) DP Drive. The Second Server is our SQL Server 2008 R2: 2 x 3,5Ghz 16GB RAM 50GB (10GB free) Systemdrive 50GB (35GB free) SQL DB Drive (DB Size is 5,5GB) 50GB (48GB free) SQL Logs Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard with SP1 Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 10.50.2861.0 Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools 10.50.2861.0 Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 6.1.7601.17514 Microsoft MSXML 3.0 6.0 Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.5466 Operating System 6.1.7601 What have we done: All goes fine and is running but befor we Update to SP1 (CU1) we had a low CPU Usage on our SQL Server. The CPU Usage is now most Time at 80-90% and there are two Process that this doing: SQLSERVR.exe ReportingServicesService.exe I think that we had forgotten a Update or Patch for our SQL Server but the Consulting does know it and has no Idea. In the Logfiles for ReportingServiceService are now 3GB on Logfiles, the files are written any permantley and are 32MB (yeep there are 109 Files) This is what are written there: library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:50:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:51:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Administrative Security, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to ListChildrenAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Asset Intelligence, True). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS, PathBased). library!ReportServer_0-44!1040!04/25/2013-07:45:52:: Call to GetPropertiesAction(/ConfigMgr_DMS/Asset Intelligence, PathBased). kostoprav Posted June 13, 2013 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 Hello! I have exactly the same problem with my SCCM 2012 SP1 server. The problem started before I have had installed SP1. Trying to fix issue I have installed SP1 over existing installation, but no luck nor visible progress. ReportingServicesService.exe is eating my servers cpu. Spike starts every minute then goes down for a minute and start over again after one minute. I will post some explaining screenshots below. I am not SQL experts. For me it looks like SCCM is running some reports enumerations tasks every minute. srsrp.log: ....
