Troubleshooting SINV and HINV (again)

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I've recently deployed the framework for our new System Center environment, utilizing the SP1 install. The layout consists of 1 primary site, 1 DB server, and 6 secondary sites. After getting things operational I rolled out the client to 5 test VMs (3 Win7, 2 XP). I'm utilizing our PKI and have put in place all the required components to enforce HTTPS traffic only on all of the MPs and DPs. All servers and clients are running version 5.00.7804.1000.

I started reviewing report data for a few of the clients that I'm working on and discovered that HINV and SINV is not transmitting. More specifically I am unable to view the data I expect in the reports OR in Resource Explorer for the individual clients. I'm getting mixed information in the logs and hoping someone can lend another pair of eyes.

I'm tempted to reload the MP role on the primary site server but I haven't decided yet. Open to anyone's suggestions =)
