Win 8 Automatic Repair Loop after SCCM 2012 Imaging

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anybody else has also come across this problem too. I have 2 particular model computers that automatically enter into an "Automatic Repair Loop" during random stages of a task sequence of Windows 8 deployment.

The apps are fully compatible with windows 8 and working perfectly fine when imaging another model with different drivers.

I have also not applied any drivers either thinking a driver could be causing this problem but no luck, still entering into automatic repair loop.

oddly enough as soon as I select a windows 7 WIM file for that task sequence it runs all the way through with no problems.

I have no idea what could be causing this since all of our other model laptops image just fine with exactly the same task sequence, windows 8 and the only exception being a different driver package.

has anybody come across this before?
