Gorilla Posted April 15, 2009 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 SCCM 2007 SP1 Server 2008 Remote 2005 SQL Overnight, the Admin Console would stop responding on the local server. Reboots resolved it until the next day. I noticed when using WBEMTEST that I was getting memory errors when it occurred. Increased Virtual Memory and it took longer to fail. Suspecting a memory leak, I identified the PID of the WMI SVCHOST and saw it chomping away on half a gig. A bit of poking found this hot fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958124 Problem solved! Posting here since I didn't see it mentioned in the guides. Not sure how others were avoiding this hole. I have green check marks everywhere and a happy console.
