monkeyman Posted May 23, 2013 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Hoping that someone can clear up the following question for me... I'm about to start a simple SCCM 2012 SP1 roll out consisting of a single primary site with distribution points sited at remote locations. With regard to the initial SCCM client deployment when client push is enabled will this be installed from the distribution points closest to the user and not the primary site server, bearing in mind that boundary's and boundary groups will be setup? Basically I want to avoid the PC's at the remote locations having the client pushed to them over a slow link and instead install from a distribution point that is physically local to the devices; should I be using one of the other deployment methods i.e. via GPO, login script or god for bid a manual install?
