Installing an Application to a Build and Capture Task Sequence

Recommended Posts

Hi -

We recently upgraded from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012. I am trying to build out a TS to a Virtual Machine that sends a WIM and also installs Office as an "Application" (not a package). The TS runs through the process and is successful but Office is not there in the end. My goal is to send a build and capture that applies the WIM to a VM, install Office, and then capture it up to send to other clients as a WIM. The Office "Application" (not a package) I have built in SCCM 2012 (fresh install not migrated from 2007) works great if I simply send it to the software center or if I require it to be installed on machines tied to a particular collection. The Application properties are set to "Allow this application to be installed from the Installation Application task sequence action without being deployed". Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks,
