jbudd0649 Posted May 31, 2013 Report post Posted May 31, 2013 I am looking for a way to limit the amount of task sequences I see when I PXE boot a machine to start the imaging process. I share a SCCM 2012 server with 5 other technicians, we advertise all of our task sequences to the unknown computers collection so that we can do bare metal imaging. Right now when I PXE boot a PC I can see around 30 task sequences. I want to see only the task sequences I use, and my co-workers to only see the task sequences they use. I assume this can be done somehow through scripting, but I am a complete noob in that department. Any help is appreciated. ozthe2 Posted June 4, 2013 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 Not the solution you are looking for but you could always prefix all of your task sequences with your initials so at least they are grouped together.
Elemanzer Posted June 4, 2013 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 I too would like to know. I changed the deployment to hidden and it was gone, but I would like to use it. I want to hide those as well so when I deploy some software to people I want them to install it when they want and not see my windows 7 and 8 TS. edit - I deleted my deployment to the all computer collections and recreated them and instead of picking config clients, I pick media and pxe only.
