eddier Posted June 13, 2013 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 I am testing a new type workstation setup to limit user changes to the PC, user is not a part of local users or admin group. However everything works except the remote control on the target pc. My SMSadmin is a local admin on the target PC. Also the remote control settings for the clients, local admins has been given remote access and a part of the remote viewers list. While attempting to connect I get an "Alternate Credentials Required" because "you do not have remote control rights for device". However I do get a "Failed to register SPN (0x80070534)" on the CmRcService log on the target PC. It only seems to work when the user is apart of the local admin group
narcoticmind Posted June 14, 2013 Report post Posted June 14, 2013 By default, the remote control access is granted to those who part of "Administrators" group on the target computer. Try running the remote control as Administrator (start the SCCM console as Administrator).
