fbnella Posted June 19, 2013 Report post Posted June 19, 2013 I have MDT 2012 integrated and I'm trying to set the computer name during OSD to a combination of two separate variables separated by a dash %Model%-%SerialNumber%. Is this possible? I have added the OSDComputerName variable but I can't figure out the syntax to set both variables as the value. Peter33 Posted June 19, 2013 Report post Posted June 19, 2013 This will build you Computer Name with the first 4 chars of the model and the first 8 chars of the Serial number, seperated by a "-" and replacing all blanks (important for virtual machines, you don't want blanks . Keep in mind that the compuer Name has a max length of 15 chars.
