Postpone Windows Updates

Question

I have SCCM 2012 SP1, Is there any way to postpone a windows update for users?

My understating is , 1) we can setup a Maintenance Window, however, during a MW if the systems are not Online, they will skip the reboot.

2) Extend the SCCM Client Restart. .....

We have situations where users can’t have their systems rebooted while working on critical issues. . If you can’t postpone the reboot, are there any other suggestions ?

Thank you

Hi,

There is no postpone feature, what you could do it make the updates available to them so they have a couple of Days to install the updates when it suites them, and inform them that if they don't the updates will be installed automatically on say Friday at 17:00 or something like that.
