Hi,

To deploy the SCCM client on workgroup computers you need to make sure that your SCCM Site is published in AD and that you install the client using the SMSMP= which replaces the SLP switch in SCCM 2007. The next thing you need to approve the workgroup computers, the automatic approval is configured for domain based computers so if you use Workgroup computers you need to either change the auto-approval setting or manually approve them in the console.

If you look at a ccmsetup.log file on one of these computers, do you find anything useful there? Locationsservices.log file can also be used to see if it finds it's site.

HI Jorgen,

When we deploy the Workgroup computers, I changed the client agent properties, those computers assign the site code but unable to apply the policy which is unable to deploy the SCEP definiation updates and software updates.
