Canada Jack Posted July 8, 2013 Report post Posted July 8, 2013 SCCM 2012 Reports not visible in the ConfigMgr console, message “No items found”. When browsing to the Reports URL the “ConfigMgr_SiteCode” folder is visible but without reports below. Windows Server 2008 R2+SQL 2008 R2 +SCCM 2012 SP1 CU2 in same PC. I already deploy applictions and Windows 7 to PC, so the networking and setting are Good. I follow SCCM 2012 guide: Add Reporting Services Role is complete without issue. Next, I run IE as Administrator and open SQL report site, however I saw a lot of folder under Home directory. According to guide, it should be one folder like “ConfigMgr_SiteCode”. When I click that folder, found another item. I back to Home directory and click "Folders Settings", only one User existed - Administrator, so click "New Role Assignment", add ReportUser and SMSadmin. But nothing is show up under reports section. SQL Reporting service is running. Reboot SCCM server, Same issue. Remove Reporting Services Role and add again, same issue. Tried difference account - ReportUser, SMSadmin and Administrator, sanme issue. I checked srsrp.log, foudn this: Successfully get report server from Registry $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:36.691+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Folder [/ConfigMgr_P01] is kept $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:36.992+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Invalid class $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.041+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Could not retrieve the reporting service name for instance 'MSSQLSERVER' $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.042+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Invalid class $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.084+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Could not stop the reporting service '' $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.085+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Next security configuration at [08/07/2013 3:42:33 PM] $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.879+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Root Folder exists $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 15:33:37.880+240><thread=3180 (0xC6C)>Successfully checked that the SRS web service is healthy on server WIN-UOIO8SO0L4E.windows-noob2k8r2.local~ $$<SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT><07-08-2013 It's seem something was wrong that connect with SQL Reporting Service, but during the add role, I click verify button, it's passed. axisfx24 Posted July 9, 2013 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 I had this same problem with my setup. Take a look at the link below and the section about a console certificate. Fixed me right up. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg712698.aspx
Canada Jack Posted July 11, 2013 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 I had this same problem with my setup. Take a look at the link below and the section about a console certificate. Fixed me right up. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg712698.aspx Hi axisfx24 Thank you for your help and time. "However, when you create or modify reports from a Configuration Manager console that is installed on a different computer, you must export the certificate from the site server and then add it to the Trusted People certificate store on the computer that runs the Configuration Manager console. " But I installed SQL 2008 and SCCM 2012 in same computer, so it does't work for me.
Canada Jack Posted July 12, 2013 Report post Posted July 12, 2013 Thanks god! I sovled this issue! I removed the Reporting Services Role from my SQL server. Ran the command mofcomp.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof" Rebooted my SCCM server, then reinstalled the Reporting Services Role. Now the reports is show under report section. However it just show 108 items! According SCCM 2012 guide, it should be 422 items. So how come? Canada Jack Posted July 14, 2013 Report post Posted July 14, 2013 It's very strange! I checked report items under Reports node in past 3 days, it's show 108, 296 and 462 items! Anyway, now this is not an issue, maybe it's bug of SCCM 2012.
casey Posted September 17, 2013 Report post Posted September 17, 2013 I'm having a similar problem, except the initial installation shows 148 reports in both the reports web page and the CCM console. Some of the report folders error out for example: Hardware -- General. and the log file shows "System.Web.Services.Protocol.SoapException: The path of the item "Hardware - General" is not vaild. The full path must be less than 250 characters..." Any help would be appreciated.
mirshad.kp Posted January 20, 2015 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 I had the same above issue and got resolved by using a different method. Give read permission to accounts who use reporting to below folder %ProgramFiles%\SMS_SRSRP. All is fine...
