Your data failed to save (When working with Applications)

Question

I've been using SCCM 2012 for a while now, but out of the blue I'm having a problem that I am not finding many resources for. When doing anything with applications (create/change/export/etc) I am getting the following error message: "Your data failed to save. Please check your network connection and try again."

I am stuck as to where to go from here. Other functions (like devices, PXE, task sequences) seem to be working, its just anything to do with the applications themselves.

I am running the console on the server itself.

Has anyone else run into this?

FYI if others search for this (as I didn't find much when I searched), I think my issue stemmed from a Windows Update of .Net. In the end I removed the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit and re-installed it. It re did the .Net and I am able to edit my Applications now.

More testing is needed, but so far that seems to be the issue.
