updating sccm2012 SP1

Hi.

 

In witch order do I have to update my SCCM 2012 SP1 envoirment or where can I find the documentation to do it.

There are "R" versions (R2), CU's and hotfixes and patches I don't understand MS why use these diffrent options of updating.
