jwhiteney Posted August 16, 2013 Report post Posted August 16, 2013 I am trying to learn some SCCM stuff, so I have created a server 2008 r2 VM with DNS, DHCP, and SQL 2008 R2 on it. Everything seems to be working fine so I have finally started to install SCCM 2012 onto it. I have run into an issue with it.This is the stage I am stuck at. This is the path that initially popped up... however ServerClone is not the name of my SQL server... it is the name of the Server 2008 VM that I am running everything on. So I am assuming at one step I put in the name of the VM server instead of the name of the SQL server. When I put the actual path i want... SCCM2012.weidmark.local... I get error "The network path was not found." I have been trying to remember where I may have entered the wrong server name but cannot. Does anyone know where I would go to change it to SCCM2012?Thanks
kvineets Posted August 19, 2013 Report post Posted August 19, 2013 Have you installed on the SQL server on the same server as your CM 12 The FQDN itself does not look right, whats your domain name , FQDN should be Serverame(hostname for server ).domain
